Top Ten Tuesday - Ten Books I Want to Dust Off For Spring

Today I'm linking up with Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl which is all about lists.  Since lists are one of my favorite things this is one of my favorite linkups!  Today's topic is about Spring Cleaning and I'm looking at books on my TBR that are just gathering dust and need to be cleaned off and read.

1. Be Careful What You Witch For by Dawn Eastman - I think I've read about half this series and really enjoyed them but never went back and read the other books.

2.  I'd Rather Be Reading: The Delights and Dilemmas of the Reading Life by Anne Bogel - I have been wanting to read a book by Anne Bogel since her first one came out and this one especially connects with me.

3.  First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen - I normally try to read a Sarah Addison Allen book every summer but last summer I didn't get to one and this is one I've been wanting to read since it came out.

4.  Ghosts of Greenglass House by Kate Milford - I read the first book a few years ago and liked it though it wasn't a homerun for me.  I'm curious to see what I think of the 2nd book.

5.  The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty - This was the book that made me want to read Liane Moriarty's books and while I have read several of hers now I still somehow haven't read this one!

6.  The House at Riverton by Kate Morton - I love Kate Morton's books but this is one I haven't read.

7.  The Dry by Jane Harper - I wanted to read this right when it came out.  Still haven't!

8.  The Recipe Box by Viola Shipman - Every book by Shipman looks wonderful and this one especially appeals to me.

9.  Mastering the Art of French Eating by Ann Mah - I don't even want to think about how long this one has been sitting on my shelf.

10.  Withering Heights by Dorothy Cannell - I don't know much about this one but when I saw it in a used bookstore a few years ago I couldn't resist that title and the author's name seemed familiar.  I want to read this one to find out if this is an author I want to read more from.

What books on your TBR shelf need a good spring cleaning and to be read?

  1. I've been enjoying the Greenglass House books ... not super memorable but I find them diverting enough to occupy me for a few hours. I wonder what you will think of Ghosts of GH.

  4. I have so many books that would fit on a list like this! I need to give Dawn Eastman's series a try. I think the only one on your list I've read is The Husband's Secret. I hope you like it when you do read it!

  7. You've got some great books on here! I loved THE HUSBAND'S SECRET, THE DRY, and THE HOUSE AT RIVERTON. I still haven't read anything by Allen - she's one I need to get to soon.

    Happy TTT!

  8. I have enjoyed First Frost and The Recipe Box. And the Anne Bogel book. I don't think I'll read The Dry. Might be too tough for me, but it's had lots of love from many readers.

  9. Nice little Aussie binge planned! I LOVE all 3, especially Moriarty. You can’t go wrong with Moriarty, Morton, or Harper. Enjoy

  10. I've got way too many that I need to get to but I'm slowly working my way through them. I could do with going through my Goodreads shelves and deciding if anything can be deleted but most of what I have, I know I really want to read!
