Today I'm linking up with Carole from Carole's Random Life of Books for Books from the Backlog. I really enjoy the chance to feature a book that's been hiding in the piles of books for far too long!
Blurb: The true story of British cousins who fooled the world for more than 60 years with a remarkable hoax, photographs of “real” fairies. Exquisitely illustrated with art by Eliza Wheeler as well as the original photos taken by the girls.
Why It Needs to Come Off the Shelf: I loved the Hazel Gaynor book based on this real life event and this would take me about 20 minutes to sit down and read.
I didn't realize there were books about this. Fun! Hope you enjoy.

Ha! Kind of like the crop circles a few Brits did years back. Sounds like an interesting book.
ReplyDeleteI think that I remember hearing about this one. It sounds so interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun. It's so unique and interesting
ReplyDeleteI know I read a short book about this, but it couldn't have been this one because it was in the early 2000s. I should read this one, too. ✨
ReplyDeleteI read something about this, but the cover was different.
