Top Ten Tuesday - Ten Books I Loved So Much I Had to Buy a Copy

Today I'm linking up with Top Ten Tuesday hosted by
That Artsy Reader Girl which is all about lists.  Since lists are one of my favorite things this is one of my favorite linkups!  Today's topic is about books I loved so much that I just had to go out and buy a copy.  This doesn't happen very often as I'm a very picky rereader and I typically have a very small group of authors that make the keeper shelf but here are some that made the cut.

1.  All the books by Patricia Wentworth

2.  All the books by Agatha Christie

3.  All the books by L.M. Montgomery (Except Mistress Pat - dislike that one intensely)

4.  Most of the books by Barbara Michaels (while I love most of her books not all of them are reread worthy)

5.  Most of the books by Rosamunde Pilcher

6.  Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan

7.  Gone-Away Lake by Elizabeth Enright

8.  Tuesdays at the Castle by Jessica Day George

9.   The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom

10.  84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff

What books make the cut for keeper shelf?

  1. I have two Patricia Wentworth's that I've discovered between my aunt's books, I haven't read them yet though....

I think I might have all the Agatha Christie's as well yes, I need to actually check! And probably L.M. Montgomery as well.

Still want to read Once Upon a Wardrobe!

    Have a wonderful Tuesday Katherine!

  2. Katherine - those are some worthy buys IMO from what I've heard about these authors. Patricia Wentworth is an author I'd like to explore.

  4. 84, Charing Cross Road and Rosamunde Pilcher, especially The Shell Seekers, belong on my keeper shelf, too.

  6. Love your list! I own most of Barbara Michael's and Rosamunde Pilcher's books, too. And I wish I owned more of Agatha Christie's! :)

  7. I don't have any copies of Agatha Christie books but I'm thinking of getting a few of them.

I also didn't care much for Mistress Pat.

    Have a lovely day.

  9. I haven't read a book by Rosamunde Pilcher in years, but I love her writing. I can see why you keep her books.

  11. I loved Once Upon a Wardrobe and I agree about Rosamunde Pilcher books. Some of my favorite novels are by Pilcher. Particularly, Coming Home, The Shell Seekers and September.

  13. I'm the same way. I like to have copies of all the books my favorite authors have written. I don't have many complete sets (maybe not any?), but I definitely like the IDEA of owning them all. Ha ha.

    Happy TTT (on a Sunday)!

  14. Why do you dislike the Mistress Pat book. I have not read it. 📚
