Reading Recap - September 2021

Books Read This Month
:  19 - I didn't get as much reading done as I would have liked as things went a bit off the rails at the end of the month but I'm good with this number.

Category Breakdown:

Mystery: 18

Romance: 1

Though apparently it was a VERY mystery heavy month!

Print Books: 6

EBooks:  6

Audio Books: 7

Favorite Books of the Month:

Be My Ghost by Carol J. Perry - I have really enjoyed another series by this author so I expected to enjoy this first book in a new series.  I thought it was so fun and it's a series I'm really excited to see where it goes.

The Mirror Crack'd by Agatha Christie - This was a reread for me but it's been a few years since I read it and I was really surprised by just how much I enjoyed it.

Least Favorite Book:

Hearse and Gardens by Kathleen Bridge - I spent the 2nd half of this book enjoying it but unfortunately I spent the 1st half seriously considering DNFing it.  It's not a bad mystery it just isn't proving to be a favorite for me.

How was your reading in September?

  1. You have started your spooky season reading! 🎃

I read 12 books which is almost double my normal. Two of them were graphic novels so they were really quick reads. 📚
