This Week in Reading - May 12

It's Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the awesome Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

What I Got:

Murder She Wrote by Jessica Fletcher and Jon Land - The Murder She Wrote books have been a pleasant surprise so I'm looking forward to this new one.  (Publisher)

The Duke is But a Dream by Anna Bennett - I've been wanting to read Anna Bennett for awhile and this one has an amnesia plot which I haven't read since an old Lisa Kleypas years ago so I'm excited about this one.  (Publisher)

One Minute Later by Susan Lewis - I love a book involving a crisis which starts the main character with finding herself and reevaluating her whole life.  I couldn't resist this one!  (Blog Tour)

Reading:  I'm finishing up The Canterbury Sisters by Kim Wright and Ghost Moon by Heather Graham

Listening:  I finished up The Long Way Home by Mariah Stewart and am now almost done with Blood Magick by Nora Roberts.  Not sure what's up next.

Watching:  I haven't been watching a huge amount of TV but I caught up on this season of NCIS which I've been enjoying.

Off the Blog:

I haven't been feeling very well this week so there wasn't much going on here.  The weather has been gross with lots of storms which cuts down on pretty much everything I had on my to do list.  So this week wasn't exactly a winner but I'm hoping that next week will be better.

  1. The weather here has been iffy too. I have so many things outside to do and the weather has just been cooler than it should be- makes it hard to get things done. Let's hope this week is better!

Nice that the Murder She Wote books are good. :)

  2. Hope you'll soon be feeling better very soon. I just finished One Minute Later by Susan Lewis and liked it. Looking forward to your Monday review book.

  3. I used to watch NCIS but stopped somewhere around season 4 or 5. I was still enjoying it but was too busy to keep up with it!

  4. Sorry to hear you were under the weather! Hope this week is better for you.

  5. Gross weather here too! Hopefully next week will be better, both for the weather and for your health! :)

  6. Hope you are feeling better, I hate these stupid storms!!! I want to read Murder She Wrote as I love the show but I hate just jumping in but it's a long running series so I wonder if I would be okay jumping in on the new ones since I have seen the show so much or if the books are extremely different than the show. The Duke is But a Dream sounds good!!! Hope you enjoy them all!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  7. Feel better. It's been cold here, but I'm not going to complain too much because it's been a long time since we had a true spring season, like when I was a child. I remember our spring Easter coats being pretty substantial, and I know Baz has never needed one. Ha! 🌷

Happy Mother's Day, have a wonderful week wuth no storms. 🌞

  8. I hate it when the weather brings everything down. And I hope you are feeling better now and you had some time to catch up new books.

  10. I hope this week is much better for you. Our weather has been good overall. We love Angela Lansbury and Murder She Wrote. My daughter was watching an episode last night! Happy Mother' Day!

  18. Sorry you weren't feeling well! Our weather today was an icky, humid, rainy day.

  19. Wet and cold weather can dampen plans. I'm grateful for having an elliptical and a treadmill in the garage. I haven't walked outside since before winter. I'm too lazy to go out.
