Showcase Sunday

It's time for Sunday Showcase a fun linkup with Books, Biscuits and Tea.  The day when I actually have to admit how many books I acquired throughout the week!

This has actually been a pretty slow week in terms of books.  Since I've had several HUGE weeks in a row lately I'm kind of relieved!

While I do have 3 actual books on the way I haven't gotten any yet.  I did get 3 e-ARCs.

Murder at Honeychurch Hall by Hanna Dennison
I'm really excited about this new series.  It involves a 600 year old estate, secrets and a upstairs/downstairs element.

It's Always Been You by Jessica Scott
I requested this in some kind of book requesting blackout.  I have no memory of requesting it but hopefully it will be entertaining.

The Here and Now by Ann Brashares
This is a little more sci-fi than my usual reads but my favorite books so far this year have been when I stepped out of my comfort zone.

  1. I love Jessica Scott's books but entertaining is not how'd I'd describe them; more like gut wrenching and heartbreaking.

I got all the same books you did too :) Let's hope we enjoy them!

    1. I'll have to keep the gut wrenching/heartbreaking in mind so I steer clear when I'm just in the mood for a light read! Thanks for the heads up! I'm keeping my fingers crossed on them! I've had pretty good luck with books this year!

  2. I'm very interested in Murder at Honeychurch Hall--it sounds like my kind of read, and I do like to get in a new series soon after it's begun.

  4. It's nice having a few quiet weeks after a really hectic time, isn't it? At least you'll have a bit of time to catch up on your TBR pile. :)
