What I Got:
Currently:
Reading: Death in Kew Gardens by Jennifer Ashley
Listening: Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan but I haven't listened to much this week.
Watching: I haven't been watching too much TV other than Hallmark movies. There's a checklist app that has me more than a little addicted and wanting to watch more so I can check them off.

This week was a bit crazy though not too bad. I started physical therapy for my neck and had a follow up with my doctor. The term degenerative disc disease really freaked me out but it doesn't sound like it's going to be too much of an issue. A lot of the pain I was having was due to the fact that all the muscles around my neck are a complete disaster but the physical therapy really seems like it will help. Unfortunately it's 3 times a week and between that and school being out and a few other things I'm just kind of dashing from one thing to another without getting much of anything done.

Good luck with the physical therapy! That's great news that it will be able to help so much. And Hallmark movies sound fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing Death in Kew Gardens around a little bit and I didn't realize that it was part of the same series at Death Below Stairs- I still need to read that!
Great news that the physical therapy should solve you problems. I had a no book haul last week but made up for it this one. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Good to hear your neck is improving, it makes all the time for therapy worth it. Will look forward to your review of Death in Kew Gardens.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you decided to go to therapy. Hopefully it will start helping quickly and you won't have to go as often. 👍✨
ReplyDeleteOne of these weeks I'll get zero books! Ha ha. 😁
Have a wonderful new week. 🌞
I'm glad the physical therapy has begun! Hopefully it really helps.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
PT can be time-consuming, but it's really worth it. It made a big difference for my frozen shoulder.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the book with blank pages, I thought you had bought a new notebook/journal! It's nice to have a week without new books now and then. :-) Have a great week!
Glad your PT is going okay but it can be very time consuming. You did great not getting anything! I technically didn't get anything this week but I forget a couple last week so I put them up. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading!

Glad you neck is feeling better, even if you have to be at the PT's so often! I hope it continues to improve.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I hope the PT works out well for you. Have a great week ahead.

Fingers crossed for the therapy for you! I'm planning to really get into my fitness over this summer and get rid of some of this excess weight!
ReplyDeleteMeet Me at Cupcake Cafe sounds so cute! Have a great week! Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2019/06/the-sunday-post-happy-tony-awards-day.html
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that it seems like the physical therapy is going to be a help to you. I am also glad that your diagnosis isn't as scary as it sounds :) I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI like Jenny Colgan's books. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am glad it sounds like the physical therapy will help. I feel you though with three appointments a week with everything else. I am missing the Hallmark channel right now. I've been so down as of late about everything going on in the world. My husband says I need to read more romances. LOL I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been having neck trouble as well and has been going through PT and tried some acupuncture as well.Wishing you a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteHopefully an intense period of PT will be short.
ReplyDeleteI go through phases when I enjoy binging on Hallmark movies, especially the various mystery series.
Have a great reading week
My daughter has done a lot of PT over the last 2 years and it does help. Although, she has to do her part at home and now that she knows the exercises she doesn't need to go there, she just has to do the exercises. With her other appts, college classes and me working it was just too much so I quite working. It's still hard to accomplish enough.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and I hope you feel much better.
Anne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
I hope the PT doers you a lot of good. Don't you hate when your normally smooth schedule gets out of whack? I know you miss the reading and I'm glad you can do audio books.
ReplyDeleteI'm done with The Distant Hours now. Did you finish yet? I don't want to say any spoilers!
I was addicted to Hallmark movies during the Christmas time, but I've gotten away from them lately. I'll probably go back this summer. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read about your neck issues; hope PT helps. My SIL has a similar problem but she's probably a few decades older than you I'm guessing.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you're getting the help needed for your neck, which is great, but I'm sure life slowing down a little would be nice too... Especially with summer coming up!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and a wonderful week to you!
Oh wow, PT just made your weeks interesting. I hope it really isn't an issue about the disease!
ReplyDeletePhysical therapy hours can really add up in a week. I can attest to that. I hope it helps your neck.
