What I'm Reading - April 16

I always have a few books going.  Here is what I'm reading and what I'm thinking about them.

Print Book:

Seeing Darkness by Heather Graham -
So far I'm enjoying this pretty well but I haven't gotten fully hooked by the story.

Ebook:

The Keeper of Lost Art by Laura Morelli - This hasn't been exactly what I expected but so far I'm really enjoying it and it's a litte different from other WWII Homefront books I've read in the past.

Audio Book -

Winter in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand - I just started this so no opinion yet but I'm so looking forward to it!

Slow Read:

Manor of Dying by Kathleen Bridge - This is an overdue review book and a cozy mystery that looks fun. It takes place in a remote mansion that once housed an asylum where a murder took place.  This isn't my favorite cozy author but so far it is fun and the setting is hard to top.

What are you reading right now?

  1. Looks like you've got some interesting books you are reading right now. I'm finishing up a reread of a 'first in a series' book and trying to decide what to read after this. The series is one that I'm thinking about doing '1 book a month' for this year. It's 'In The Bleak Midwinter' by Julia Spencer-Fleming. The 10th in the series is coming out in late fall and it has been several years since a new one was published. Hope you guys have a happy Easter weekend!

  2. I have noticed the Elin Hilderbrand book and hope one day to give it a go. A WW2 home front book that is a bit different to past ones has to be good.

  3. That's a lot of different books going. I'm reading mostly mystery stuff, always one audio and one ebook.

  4. These sound good. I haven't read Elin Hilderbrand in a long time. I usually love her books.

  5. A nice mix. I have been escaping into horror and fantasy lately.
