It's Sunday Post time! This is hosted by the awesome Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.
What I Got:
Guess Again by Charlie Donlea - Super excited about this one. I've really enjoyed all the previous books I've read by this author. (Publisher)
Puzzled 4 Murder by J.C. Eaton - I really enjoy this cozy series so I'm looking forward this newest book. (Publisher)
Currently:
Listening: Mother-Daughter Murder Night by Nina Simon
This has been a crazy few weeks and I haven't been as intentional about getting some restorative cozy time each week as I hoped. I'm taking this week to take a breath, reset and refocus. I did make dinner reservations for last night at a new restaurant in town I really enjoyed the one time I tried and I'm planning on making reservations at another new restaurant that I've been wanting to try. I figure that's a start in the right direction for intentionally doing things I enjoy and planning something to look forward to each week.
I hope everyone has a great week and happy reading!
Beach vibes would be great right now. I mean like real beach vibes and sand!
ReplyDeleteI like Charlie Donlea's books too. Have read a few of them, but not the one you show above. I think having some 'restorative cozy time' for yourself sounds really good. Hope you enjoy the restaurants and also 'take a breath, reset, and refocus'. Take care, Katherine!
ReplyDeleteI also got Guess Again as I enjoy Charlie Donlea. I think we have to take restorative cozy moments when we can because things are bad and we're going to have to resist them getting worse. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Well I do have actual beach vibes to enjoy, I'll wait to you give your thoughts on Susan Mallery's book though first. I did swear off her, but I can change my mind. Hope you enjoy the restaurant and the week of refocus.
ReplyDeleteBeach Vibes sounds really good. I always enjoy Susan Mallery's books. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I need to do more self-care lately to make up for all the awful-dystopian vibes coming from those who others elected to lead us.
ReplyDeleteIs that a newly published Charlie Donlea novel? How exciting! And I wish you a quieter, more relaxing and mindful week this week.
