This Week in Reading - June 15

It's Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the awesome Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

What I Got:

Asylum Hotel by Juliet Blackwell - I'm so excited about this one.  It looks gorgeously creepy. (Publisher)

Currently:

Reading:  A Body at the Bookfair by Ellie Alexander and Crooked House by Agatha Christie

Listening:  The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick

We finally had some sun!  I went over to a friend's house for a pool day and apparently wasn't as vigilant with the sunscreen as I should have been so I got a bit scorched.  Now it's raining again and is supposed to do so for the next few days.

Have a great week and happy reading!

  1. Sorry about your 'scorching' - easy to do isn't it? When I was a teen, I was pretty sure I'd someday get tanned, but...not so much. And now, dermatologists - ha! I like the look of Asylum Hotel. Will watch for it.

  2. I've been seeing the Juliet Blackwell book around. We get rain almost every afternoon which is not at all like last year when we had no rain between June and September.

  5. Well all authors I recognise. Hope they are all good. Ouch to the sunburn - by water is always a bit tricky.

  6. I want to read both of those books. I have to first read the first one in the Ellie Alexander series.

  7. Yes... it's so easy to do. Poor Ethan got badly burnt the day we went kayaking - he's still got red streaks down his arms where he missed with the sunblock. I swear by aloe vera... Glad you got the weather to enjoy being by the pool, though. Fabulously creepy cover on Asylum Hotel:).
