I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 college age kids and 1 in elementary school. In the corporate world I was a Systems Analyst dealing with computer security.
In addition to books I love food and always love to try new recipes. I like to think I can do DIY projects but the results are decidedly mixed! I enjoy TV but have commitment issues with movies. TV-wise I like pretty much any of the BBC dramas including Sherlock, Whitechapel, and Doctor Who as well mystery shows like Elementary, CSI, NCIS and the spin-offs (though the Los Angeles one is a bit of a guilty pleasure), Criminal Minds, just about all the food competitions on Food Network and The Big Bang Theory.
I've always been a reader and generally have at least 1 book with me. My Kindle has made life a little easier because I no longer have to worry about finishing a book without another one with me. I read a wide variety of genres but especially mystery, food memoirs, romance and history. I also have a tendency to collect cookbooks. The local library has slowed the accumulation down a little but not much. Check out my favorites page to get a look at my favorite books!
