This Week in Reading - August 3

It's Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the awesome Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

What I Got:

Our Extraordinary Summer by Lori Wilde - I haven't read anything by this author before but the premise and the cover totally sold me.  (Publisher)

Currently:

Reading:  Guess Again by Charlie Donlea and Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis

Listening:  The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center

How is it August??  This year has been crazy busy but we have gotten some big jobs checked off the list so I can at least see what I've been doing.
This has been a pretty quiet week.  I've had a mix of headaches and migraines all week so I'm really glad about that.   Dog classes start up this week and Will is back to school.  He's homeschooled but also takes some classes with a group.  That organization is still doing the paperwork but isn't offering classes so I'm kind of scrambling a little for a few things.  He's doing some lab sciences with a friend at a local science museum that looks pretty great.
Have a great week and happy reading!

  1. I know- where did July go? But that's good, only one more month in the oven and it will be gorgeous here for 4 months or so. I've enjoyed all the books you are reading or listening to!

  2. I'm not super excited it's August because that means my summer vacation is rapidly coming to an end. But work brings a paycheck and that's super good, too. ;D That Charlie Donlea book looks really good.

  3. Homeschooling sounds like a challenge but you both seem to be enjoying it.
I am hoping August will be like the beginning of autumn and cooler temps!

  4. The Lori Wilde cover looks good, I can't remember if I have read her or not. Maybe not. Hope those headaches leave you. August back to school, time flies.

  5. Our grandchildren go back to school on the 12th. Summer has flown by. I am not in a rush for fall because winter will be right behind it. I loathe the cold. Hope the headaches let up.

  6. I hope you are able to get Will's schooling squared-away. The lab classes sound like great fun.

That cover on Our Extraordinary Summer is beautiful.

  7. I haven't read Lori Wilde's books in years, but this one looks really good. Very pretty cover. The whole year is already flying and now we're halfway through summer. I don't know where the time goes. Enjoy your books. Have a great week!

  8. The Rom-Commers is on my list to read. I hope you are enjoying the audiobook, Katherine. I hope this week has been good to you. Mouse had her first day at school yesterday--kind of an intro to high school day for all the freshman. The official first day of school is this coming Monday. She's got mixed feelings about it, but hopefully it will be a good year for her. I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
