Monthly Reading Total: 22 - I finished off a couple of books I had started in previous months so the number is a bit artificially high.
Type:
Print: 5
Ebook: 10
Audio: 7
Genre:
Mystery - 20
Fiction - 2
Favorite Book of the Month:
I read a lot of mysteries so while I enjoyed the majority of my reading there weren't any major standouts.
The Family Vault by Charlotte MacLeod did prove to be a surprise so I think that's enough to get it into my favorites!
Least Favorite Book of the Month:
Pretty Dead Things by Lillian West - I didn't hate this one, but I wanted to like it a lot more than I actually did.
My Monthly Armchair Travel:
Domestic Travel: I visited three new states - Missouri, Nevada, and Ohio. I also visited Massachusetts, Connecticut, California, New York, Illinois, Georgia, and North Carolina.
International Travel: In addition to England I also went to Scotland and Russia.
How was your reading in December?
I need to take a close look at my list of countries in the world and see what countries I still need to visit via books.
ReplyDeleteI like to record the countries I visit too. On my sidebar I have the countries and label each book by the setting so, if you are looking for a book set in France or Ireland, etc...just click on the link there. It will bring up all the books for that setting.
ReplyDeleteNice stats for the month!
I've read most of Charlotte McCloud and collected a few of her paperbacks which were out of print.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
You have a good reading month, my guess is we all carry books over from one month to another. I need to go post mine, meant to do it yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYou had a great reading month in December. I love reading all your stats.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a good December in reading, Katherine. I didn't read a lot in December as compared to some other months last year, but with the holidays, I expected that. I hope you have a great January!
