Favorite Book of the Month:
Your Guide to Not Getting Murdered in a Quaint English Village by Maureen Johnson - This was so much fun to read and gave me more than a few laughs.
Least Favorite Book of the Month:
The Art of Arranging Flowers by Lynne Branard - Normally my least favorite book of the month is one I liked okay but just not as much as the other reads. This is not the case for this one. This was my first one star book of the month.
My Bookish Armchair Traveling For the Month:
I had a busy month!
In the US I visited -
Alaska
California (twice)
Illinois
Massachusetts
Michigan
New York
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Utah
Vermont
Washington (twice)
And I had some international travel too!
I went to England three times and in a weird twist of bookish choices I went to Northern Ireland twice. I'm not sure I've ever visited Northern Ireland fictionally so it was a bit surprising to go there twice in one month.
How was your reading in January? Where did your books take you?
You did quite a bit of traveling in January. And you had a nice variety of genres. Great way to start the year!
ReplyDeleteI love how you break the reading down by venue. That's something I missed from how I set up my book blog Turn the Page. I had a list of countries the books were set in.
ReplyDeleteGreat reading this month!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
What a terrific month of reading! I can't remember ever reading a book set in Northern Ireland.
ReplyDeleteGreat reading month in January! I hope February is a good month too.
ReplyDeleteWell that sounds like a good month and love that the JAK book hit the right spot. I don't note where I read but I must because its interesting.
ReplyDeleteI haven't managed to do my January update yet. It should be up later today. 😏
