The lovely Sheila over at Book Journey is once again hosting First Book of the Year. Once again I did not get my act together in time to send her a picture but I'm so looking forward to scrolling through all the other more organized souls and seeing what books they've chosen! Though I didn't send my picture in I'm still choosing my First Books of the Year. The books I've chosen fit my reading theme for 2023 - books I'm excited to read. I over planned in 2022 and while I really enjoyed my reading my goal for 2023 is to take the pressure off and just read books I'm excited to pick up.
First Print Book:
Beyond a Reasonable Stout by Ellie Alexander - This is one of my favorite cozy mystery authors and I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series. I'm so excited to continue with it!
Looks like a good selection to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting the year with AEROBICS CAN BE DEADLY by Ryan Rivers.
Great selection, Katherine. I have several from the library but can't decide which to start with. I am also trying to clear my shelves at home.
ReplyDeleteLooks great to me! Happy New Year and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
Dearest Katherine! Happy New Year to you. My wish for you for the year is joy and peace and good health.
ReplyDeleteOh please don't say that you don't have your act together yet. Ha, I have no plan what so ever at the moment and haven't actually started with a new book yet...! So you are lightyears ahead of me already.
Have a good week to come and happy reading!
