The Year of the Projects - Series Project List

Last year was all about the series and while I really enjoyed that I felt like I was neglecting some other areas of my TBR.  So I decided to widen my focus a bit and came up with 4 different lists to read from. However, I can't neglect my series all together even if they aren't the main focus this year!  Hear are the next 10 books in my series project.

1.  Rest Ye Murdered Gentleman by Vicki Delany - I really meant to read this before Christmas but didn't quite get to it.  I've really enjoyed the later books in the series so am looking forward to reading the first few.

2.  A High End Finish by Kate Carlisle - I've read the last few books in this series but this is another one where I never read the early books.

3.  Death al Dente by Leslie Budewitz - Ditto above.

4.  Consigned to Death by Jane K. Cleland - Ditto above

5.  Death on Tap by Ellie Alexander - This is a series by a favorite author that I've been meaning to read for ages and have actually bought all the books but haven't actually read them.

6.  By Book or By Crook by Eva Gates - Another series that I've read the later books but not the early books.  This seems to be a pattern.

7.  Crime and Poetry by Amanda Flower - This is the first in a series that I've really wanted to read since it came out and own all the books but haven't read one.

8.  No Farm, No Foul by Peg Cochran - I meant to read the first book in this series when it came out but didn't so I'm looking forward to reading it now.

9. The Murder of Mary Russell by Laurie R. King - This is the only series that is from my original list but I've really been enjoying making progress on it.

10. The Marsh Madness by Victoria Abbott - This is the second series that's a carryover from last year though it was added later in the year.  I've really enjoyed this series involving a book collector and am looking forward to reading the last two books.

Do you have any series that you'd like to start or catch up on this year?

  1. I'm always drawn to books that take place in libraries. I am especially interested in the lighthouse library series.

  4. I enjoy the Alexander series. I'm up-to-date on the series except for the newest, which just came out. It's a fun one!

  5. Of all the cozy mystery series I have read or am reading I haven't started any of these, but most are on my unofficial to read one day list. I hope you are able to get to all of these!

  6. So many cosy mystery series. And so many of them worth reading. You are great at it, I may have said before you could write a book about them I bet. I see a few I have read- authors rather than exact series. They were good.

  7. Sounds good. I'm following your lead this year and trying to complete some of my series. I'm starting with Cat in the Stacks series by Miranda James.
