This Week in Reading - October 7

It's Sunday Post time!  This is hosted by the awesome Caffeinated Book Reviewer and gives us all a chance to recap our week.

What I Got:

The Hollow of Fear by Sherry Thomas - I have really enjoyed the previous two books in the Lady Sherlock series so I'm super excited to see what happens next.  Plus, I love this cover!  (Publisher)

The Best of Us by Robyn Carr - I've been loving the Sullivan's Crossing series so there was no way I could resist this one.  It's a January release so it doesn't count. (Little Bird Publicity)

Murder on Millionaire's Row by Erin Lindsey - I have been on a big historical mystery kick lately and this looks like a fun one!  (Publisher)

The Toymaker's Apprentice by Sherri L. Smith - I was looking for a Christmas-y middle grade book and stumbled upon this one at a used bookstore.  It looks Nutcracker-esque?  (Purchased)

Modern Baking: Cakes, Cookies, and Everything in Between by Donna Hay - I've only tried one older Donna Hay cookbook but I loved it so I'm excited to try this Baking cookbook. (Publisher)

Currently:

Reading:  The Lighthouse Keeper's Daughter by Hazel Gaynor and The Secrets We Carried by Mary McNear

Listening:  I just finished The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum and am now listening to Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney

Watching:  Mostly YouTube videos about Disney World but I'm going to start catching up on Fall TV soon.

Off the Blog:

It's Disney Week!  I've been counting down and it's finally here!  I swear I'm more excited than the Tornado.  We are hitting the greatest hits from our trip last year and are looking forward to exploring the new Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios.  See you next week!
